One of the most puzzling sights on a recent trip to Japan was what seemed to be the bizarre offspring of a resolutely ordinary Japanese economy car and a 1963 Jaguar Mark II. One of the fun things about the New Jersey BMWCCA June event at Lime Rock is the club race that runs concurrently with the drivers school.
This year, some pretty evil weather hit right as one of the races was due to begin. The race was postponed until the next day, but the clouds provided a nice backdrop for some beautiful race cars.

Post number one on a oft-discussed but long-delayed project. This is going to be a site about cars. Though this site is just getting going, I expect to post fairly frequently about my experiences on track, car trips, vintage cars, and anything else I run across. Welcome!
For now, please excuse the shoddy layout and graphic design. This site is very much in a state of perpetual construction.
A bit about me: I'm a driving instructor with various chapters of the BMW Club. I have a 1988 BMW M3, which I take to such racetracks as Lime Rock, NHIS, Watkins Glen, Summit Point and Mont Tremblant.
