Lime Rock Vintage Races
Every Labor Day weekend, Lime Rock Park hosts one of the largest gatherings of vintage race cars in the country. The track is a superb place to spectate; much of the infield overlooks the racetrack, providing good vantage points all around. Though some drivers find the fast, 1.5 mile circuit to be a bit of a repetitive, dizzying roller coaster, the low lap times work to the spectators' advantage; you're never waiting more than 80 seconds to see the same car come around again.

This driver of this Porsche 356 was provoking it into some pretty serious liftoff oversteer every time he came into Big Bend. I would love to drive a 356 on the track at some point.
The Sunbeam Tigers always did have more motor than brakes...
