Introducing Mitsuoka Motors

One of the most puzzling sights on a recent trip to Japan was what seemed to be the bizarre offspring of a resolutely ordinary Japanese economy car and a 1963 Jaguar Mark II. This kind of postmodern pastiche is a fairly common sight in Japan, especially in the built environment. But this local equivalent of the Zimmer surprised even my jaded eyes.

Behold, then, the Mitsuoka Viewt.
